The United States Rubber Company was founded in 1892 by Charles R. Flint merging eleven companies in Naugatuck, Connecticutt. Its industry is mostly tires and its head quarters is in Greenville, South Carolina. It was located in New York City, New York for some time. In 1986 it merged with the B. F. Goodrich Company. In 1990, it was acquired by the Michelin Group.
