The Ogden's Tobacco Company was founded in 1860 by Thomas Ogden in Liverpool, England. Its industry was tobacco and its headquarters remained in Liverpool, England. It was acquired by the American Tobacco Company in 1901. The company was slowly phased out by Imperial Tobacco throughout the late 20th century, and its main factory closed in 2007.
