The Long-Bell Lumber Company was founded on April 30, 1875 by Robert A. Long, Victor B. Bell and Robert White in Columbus, Kansas. Its industry was lumber and its headquarters was in Kansas City, Missouri. It was acquired by the International Paper Company in 1956.
